Here's the final pictures from Paul's bathroom make-over. Yesterday I posted the before pictures, which you can see here.
He completed the renovation in just a couple days.
He originally bought the wrong sink and took it back to get the larger/deeper rectangle sink.
The river rocks filled in the glass vase to the right are from our wedding centerpieces. He knew he would find a place to put them some day. And my bad for not filling the new tissue holder with a tissue box.
The mirror from Ikea came without the wood frame and was very unstable. So Paul bought a used bookshelf in the same wood as the rest of the Ikea Lillangen bathroom series and with his table saw cut it down and built out a supporting frame.
He found the perfect sized trash can at The Container to fit in the corner.
We bought this same bath mat from Crate & Barrel for our home in Costa Rica and he wanted to get it for his bathroom here too. It's a sweet little daily reminder to connect the two homes.
This Toto toilet has a commercial flush and is one solid piece so it's easier to clean.
Paul finished out the bathroom with all new brown towels and shower curtain and liner. He also changed out the hardware on the shower faucet and added some convenient hooks throughout the bathroom.
It's fun to give your home a little face lift. But the plans we're working on for the rest of the house is another story. I'll post updates on the plans soon!
Hope you're having a great day!
Love, Sarah
