Eno's Pizza Tavern

Prefix:  Eight out of the ten times I have been to Eno's I've had some kind of bad service.  Let it be a lack of attention from the wait staff, to not getting the tables full order out at the same time.  Today was no different, but with a party of 14 your sure to have some errors.  Obviously that doesn't stop me from coming back.  Let me show you why...

My whole office went to Eno's today for lunch.

Eno's is heavily involved with the Oak Cliff community and has definitely become a Bishop Arts staple.  Owner Matt Spillers has been busy co-owning Oddfellows (also known for slow service and yummy food) just a block away and Union Bear in West Village.

The majority of the table did the lunch special which is a great deal.  My absolute favorite item on the menu is the Little Eno's Meatball.  It's delicious.

A little birdie once told me that they got most of their interior wood and scrap details from Orr-Reed.

Frosty root beer is always welcomed on a hot day.

I ordered the Small Farm Salad.  It was ok.  I'm not a big salad eater so I like lots of flavors to keep me coming back for each bite.  This one was just a little too bland.

Benton was digging his half-order of South Hill White Pie with added jalapeños.  Even though he said it came out cold, he was still talking about how good it was on the way back to the office.

Everyone was eating their pizza too fast for me to even take a picture of it.  Brandon and Jun practically licked their bowls of the Tuesday special Corn Chowder before I even knew they ordered it.

You can take the guys out of the office, but you can't take the office talk out of them.

The environment is special.  With little touches and details everywhere you look.  It just makes your eyes happy.

When you go, please start with their Truffle Cheese Bread, I can eat an entire order by myself.  Then end your meal with an Eno's Sundae Sack.  I'm not even going to tell you what's in it, but you might need three or four more spoons to help you finish it!

Love, Sarah

p.s.  Click here to see the Eno's video my company created for them when we first started!
